wooooh. fourteen has been a big year.
i feel
this summer is overlapping me like a wave and leaving me on the shore.
excuse the poor metaphor.
well, it sure doesn't feel like my birthday's tomorrow.
(well, technically today, considering it's 12:07 am)
i'm so excited for this new year.
speaking of new, i have a blogggg.
read it or don't read it, doesn't matter much to me, but i'd appreciate if you'd check it out(:
as a birthday present maybe?

don't ask about the name, it was a last minute thing.
oh! and while you're at it, if you haven't already added my new account, kimberlycee, to your watchlist, you should go check i out, yeah? :D

ahhh birthdays, birthdays.
i've recently just started to realize how strange special, meaningful, or important events are.
i mean, say you're having a bad day. You kind of expect the rest of the world to feel the smae way. But when you're having a great day and someone comments on how bad theirs is going, it just feels like something unimportant and like that person is trying to get you down or is being close-minded.
So a birthday, in the sense of the world, is a big thing. And then again, it's hardly important.
Everybody is born, everybody has a birth date.
i'm sure you've said Happy Birthday to at least one other person in your life.
Doesn't it feel unsignifigant?
Yet, on YOUR birthday, it seems like the whole world wants to join in and sing happy birthday to you.

haha wellll. deep stuff the night before a birthday (:

You think I think an artist’s job is to speak the truth. An artist’s job is to captivate you for however long we’ve asked for your attention. If we’ve stumbled into truth we got lucky.
